GRAPE VARIETY: Cabernet Sauvignon
REGION: Orange Region, NSW
WINEMAKING: The fruit was fermented separately in stainless steel fermenters, with twice daily pump-overs to extract colour and flavour. A number of the parcels were then matured in French & American oak prior to blending.
COLOUR: Dark plum colour with a youthful crimson hue.
AROMA: Vibrant bouquet of plum, mulberry and blackcurrant with integrated oak complexity.
PALATE: Full and fleshy dark berry, black currant and cassis with balanced dusty tannins and lovely length.
WINE ANALYSIS: Alc/vol: 13.5%
ADDITIVES: Made using traditional methods. Some traces of egg products may remain. Preservative 220 added.
PEAK DRINKING: 2018 to 2022
FOOD MATCHES: Antipasto, pasta and a range of red meat dishes.
