The 2017 vintage was one of the longest on record at Angullong. With cooler than average temperatures through spring and early summer, vine growth and bunch development were delayed.
Harvest was later, working out well for the aromatic white varieties as they ripened consistently during autumn, which is characteristic of the Orange region.
Our Verdelho is a Cellar Door favour, with attractive fresh tropical fruit and melon flavours held within a clear and natural acid backbone. The finish is beautifully crisp and refreshing finish, offering a lovely alternative to Sauvignon Blanc.
