2018 Angullong Cabernet Merlot

Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot go together like Lennon and McCartney. The two varieties complement each other well, resulting in a wine that is greater than the sum of its part. The Angullong Cabernet Merlot is generous with dark berry and mulberry flavours. The oak maturation adds complexity and structure and the dusty tannins make it a great accompaniment to antipasto or a spiced lamb rack.

93 POINTS  “This is youthfully charming and attractively expressed on the nose showing blackcurrant, dark plum, dried herb and toasted almond characters, followed by a succulent palate that is plump and silky. The wine offers up front fruit flavours backed by fine, chalky tannins, finishing delicately dry”
