The Angullong Merlot is generous with redcurrant and mulberry flavours. The oak maturation adds complexity and structure and the dusty tannins make it a great accompaniment to roast meats or mature cheeses. This is a wine to enjoy now or cellar up to around 2021.


GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Merlot.

REGION: Orange Region, NSW

WINEMAKING: The fruit was fermented separately in stainless steel fermenters, with twice daily pump-overs to extract colour and flavour.

COLOUR: Dark plum colour with a youthful crimson hue.

AROMA: Vibrant bouquet of plum, mulberry and redcurrant with integrated oak complexity.

PALATE: Full and fleshy dark Redcurrant and mulberry flavours with balanced dusty tannins and lovely length

WINE ANALYSIS: Alc/vol: 13.5%

ADDITIVES: Made using traditional methods. Some traces of egg products may remain. Preservative 220 added.

PEAK DRINKING: 2018 to 2021

FOOD MATCHES: Antipasto, tomato based pasta and a range of red meat dishes.
